Liberty Special Editions

 We are super proud at Pearl and Earl that our Granny Knits craft kits are part of the craft mecca we know and love as LIBERTY LONDON...  and the team have asked us to design a bespoke cross stitch piece to make up and sit in the department to promote our wares.
So I worked on a design using the Liberty Logo, my London Skyline and Union Jack Floral design, but using our new JEWEL palette.  Today my lovely Aunty Ann delivered the finished wool stitched panel ready for me to turn into the finished piece..  and I am more than a little thrilled with the results.
Pics are not the best, as they were from my phone.. and the dreary day did nothing for the colours.  But it is a delight and I will aim to produce more professional results with the cushion tomorrow!
Meanwhile it was a Liberty day.. as the Quadrille preview book list that came my way today included a snap shot of the new LIBERTY HOME SEWING BOOK.  Plus they are doing a programme of STITCH events in store to celebrate, and using some of their new Autumn Fabrics LIBERTY ROCKS... including some patchwork classes..
Will keep you up to date with the project progression, but for tonight I am feeling rather giddy with the gorgeousness of it all.
